Nach seinem Debut-Album „Live Your Life" (2005) veröffentlicht der Sänger und Songwriter Philip Bölter aus der Rhön sein zweites Album „Before the TV's Dreamed".

Den interessierten Zuhörer erwartet ein in sich geschlossenes Werk. Die Instrumentenvielfalt und die bunten Arrangements, die schon sein Vorgängeralbum zum kunstvollen Klangerlebnis machten, zieren auch Bölters neues Werk. Nahtlos knüpft er an dessen Themen an: „Zurück zur Natürlichkeit. Bevor der Fernseher träumte". Mit Erschrecken sieht sich der Künstler Bölter mit der zunehmenden Apathie der Menschen und deren banalen Feierabendgestaltung konfrontiert. Ein Aufruf nicht den Fernseher zur trivialen geistlosen Freizeitattraktion zu machen, sondern mit dem von der Natur Gegebenen im Einklang zu leben, aus ihr zu schöpfen und diese wieder in den Mittelpunkt des Daseins zu rücken. Ein Spaziergang durch die Mondnacht. Durch dieses Gedicht von dem Romantiker Eichendorff wurde Philip inspiriert.
Desweiteren kritisiert Bölter den Zwang sich in das wirtschaftliche und politische System integrieren zu müssen, welcher schon in der Schule beginnt und sich von da an wie ein roter Faden durch das Leben zieht. Alles dreht sich um Geld und stumpfe Eingliederung, wodurch man letztendlich seine Träume und das Leben verkauft. Philip versucht sich von dieser Situation zu distanzieren und flieht in Erinnerungen und Momente welche er in seinen Liedern festhält. „Let's step through the white night; let's dance in the moonlight; let's fly like a bird in the sky; let's live the free live !" So in dem ersten Song seines neuen Albums.
Gemeinsam mit seinem Bruder Florian (Bass), Daniel Schild (Drums), Christina Müller (Backing-Vocals) und Freunden nahm der 18-jährige Student im September 2006 die zehn Titel dieses träumerischen, aber auch rockigen Albums auf. Wem „Live Your Life" zu ruhig war, dürfte mit „Before the TV's Dreamed" richtig liegen.
